AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for lighted head lamps in highway work
3 areas.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 4309. Lighted head lamps in highway work areas.
9 Head lamps shall be lighted on every vehicle driving through
10 or past a highway work area. The department shall post, or
11 require its contractor to post, at least 1,000 feet in advance
12 of every highway work area, a sign warning drivers to light
13 their vehicles' head lamps for an upcoming highway work area.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
