                                     AN ACT

     1  Prohibiting school districts from levying real property tax.

     2     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     3  hereby enacts as follows:
     4  Section 1.  Real property tax prohibition.
     5     School districts shall not levy real property tax for any
     6  purpose.
     7  Section 2.  Effective date.
     8     This act shall take effect June 30, 2002.
