REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, MAY 6, 1999
AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of the University of
2 Pennsylvania for the general maintenance and operation of the
3 University of Pennsylvania Museum.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $199,000 $219,000 is hereby <--
7 appropriated to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania
8 for the fiscal year July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, for the
9 general maintenance of the University of Pennsylvania Museum and
10 the purchase of such apparatus and equipment as the trustees may
11 deem necessary for the best interest of the University of
12 Pennsylvania Museum.
13 Section 2. Payments to the University of Pennsylvania Museum
14 on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be
15 made quarterly by the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania
16 Historical and Museum Commission.
17 Section 3. The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania
1 shall provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
2 required by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission or
3 the majority chairman or the minority chairman of the
4 Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the majority chairman
5 or the minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the
6 House of Representatives.
7 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 1999, or
8 immediately, whichever is later.
