           MARCH 9, 1999

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Proclaiming April 25, 1999, as "Professional Pet Sitters Day" in
     2     Pennsylvania.

     3     WHEREAS, Pets bring happiness, comfort and companionship to
     4  people from all walks of life, from the very young to our oldest
     5  citizens; and
     6     WHEREAS, Professional pet sitting is a growing industry in
     7  this Commonwealth and throughout the United States; and
     8     WHEREAS, The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters
     9  and Pet Sitters International represent over 3,000 professional
    10  pet sitters throughout the United States; and
    11     WHEREAS, The New Jersey Professional Pet Sitters Network is
    12  conducting a networking session on April 25, 1999, in Langhorne,
    13  Bucks County; therefore be it
    14     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives proclaim April
    15  25, 1999, as "Professional Pet Sitters Day" in Pennsylvania.
