AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Everhart Museum in Scranton FOR <--
2 OPERATING EXPENSES.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $40,000 $44,000 is hereby appropriated <--
6 to the Everhart Museum in Scranton for the fiscal year July 1,
7 2000, to June 30, 2001, for operating expenses, including
8 maintenance and the purchase of apparatus, supplies and
9 equipment.
10 Section 2. Payments to the Everhart Museum on account of the
11 appropriation provided in section 1 shall be made quarterly by
12 the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum
13 Commission.
14 Section 3. The Everhart Museum shall provide full, complete
15 and accurate information as may be required by the Pennsylvania
16 Historical and Museum Commission or the majority chairman or the <--
1 minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate
2 or the majority chairman or the minority chairman of the <--
3 Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives.
4 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2000, or
5 immediately, whichever is later.
