AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for limitation on
3 municipal regulation of firearms and ammunition.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 6120 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 6120. Limitation on municipal regulation of firearms and
9 ammunition.

11 (a.1) Exceptions.--The limitation on municipal regulation of
12 firearms and ammunition in subsection (a) shall not apply to any
13 city of the first class, second class, second class A or third
14 class in this Commonwealth.

16 Section 2. All acts and parts of acts are repealed insofar
17 as they are inconsistent with this act.
18 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
