AN ACT
1 Repealing the act of March 28, 1931 (P.L.11, No.9), entitled "An
2 act to enable the farmers of the Commonwealth of
3 Pennsylvania, as an emergency measure, to borrow money from
4 the United States of America under the provisions of the
5 Joint Resolution of Congress, approved the twentieth day of
6 December one thousand nine hundred and thirty (Public
7 Resolution, Number one hundred twelve, Seventy-first
8 Congress), as amended, for the relief of farmers in the
9 drought and storm-stricken areas of the United States;
10 authorizing the execution and recording of chattel mortgages
11 unto the United States of America on crops already planted or
12 to be planted; and designating the nature of the lien
13 operation and effect of such mortgages."
14 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
15 hereby enacts as follows:
16 Section 1. The act of March 28, 1931 (P.L.11, No.9),
17 entitled "An act to enable the farmers of the Commonwealth of
18 Pennsylvania, as an emergency measure, to borrow money from the
19 United States of America under the provisions of the Joint
20 Resolution of Congress, approved the twentieth day of December
21 one thousand nine hundred and thirty (Public Resolution, Number
1 one hundred twelve, Seventy-first Congress), as amended, for the
2 relief of farmers in the drought and storm-stricken areas of the
3 United States; authorizing the execution and recording of
4 chattel mortgages unto the United States of America on crops
5 already planted or to be planted; and designating the nature of
6 the lien operation and effect of such mortgages," is repealed.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
