AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to St. Christopher's Hospital, AN <--
2 APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF Philadelphia.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. (a) The sum of $791,000 is hereby appropriated <--
6 to St. Christopher's Hospital, Philadelphia, for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, for the outpatient and inpatient
8 treatment of severe physically disabling diseases and general
9 SECTION 1. THE SUM OF $500,000 IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED TO THE <--
10 CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1,
11 1999, TO JUNE 30, 2000, FOR COMPREHENSIVE PATIENT CARE FOR
12 CHILDREN FROM BIRTH THROUGH AGE 19 AND FOR GENERAL maintenance
13 and operation of the hospital. Payment of this appropriation
14 shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal quarterly
15 payments.
16 (b) The sum of $166,000 is hereby appropriated to St. <--
1 Christopher's Hospital, Philadelphia, for the fiscal year July
2 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, for the handicapped children's clinic
3 at the hospital. Payment of this appropriation shall be made by
4 the Secretary of Health in equal quarterly payments.
5 Section 2. St. Christopher's Hospital THE CHILDREN'S <--
6 HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA shall provide full, complete and
7 accurate information as may be required by the Department of
8 Health or the majority chairman or the minority chairman of the <--
9 Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the majority chairman <--
10 or the minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the
11 House of Representatives.
12 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1999, or
13 immediately, whichever is later.
