AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to St. Christopher's Hospital,
2 Philadelphia.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. (a) The sum of $791,000 is hereby appropriated
6 to St. Christopher's Hospital, Philadelphia, for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, for the outpatient and inpatient
8 treatment of severe physically disabling diseases and general
9 maintenance and operation of the hospital. Payment of this
10 appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal
11 quarterly payments.
12 (b) The sum of $166,000 is hereby appropriated to St.
13 Christopher's Hospital, Philadelphia, for the fiscal year July
14 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, for the handicapped children's clinic
15 at the hospital. Payment of this appropriation shall be made by
16 the Secretary of Health in equal quarterly payments.
17 Section 2. St. Christopher's Hospital shall provide full,
1 complete and accurate information as may be required by the
2 Department of Health or the majority chairman or the minority
3 chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the
4 majority chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
5 Committee of the House of Representatives.
6 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1999, or
7 immediately, whichever is later.
