REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, APRIL 20, 1998
AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to The Carnegie for the Carnegie Museum of
2 Natural History and the Carnegie Science Center.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $181,000 $199,000 is hereby <--
6 appropriated to The Carnegie for the Carnegie Museum of Natural
7 History, Pittsburgh, for the fiscal year July 1, 1998, to June
8 30, 1999, for maintenance and the purchase of apparatus,
9 supplies and equipment.
10 Section 2. The sum of $181,000 $199,000 is hereby <--
11 appropriated to The Carnegie for the Carnegie Science Center,
12 Pittsburgh, for the fiscal year July 1, 1998, to June 30, 1999,
13 for the general operation of the planetarium and institute.
14 Section 3. Payments to The Carnegie on account of the
15 appropriations provided in sections 1 and 2 shall be made
16 quarterly by the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania
1 Historical and Museum Commission.
2 Section 4. The Carnegie shall provide full, complete and
3 accurate information as may be required by the Pennsylvania
4 Historical and Museum Commission or the majority chairman or the
5 minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate
6 or the majority chairman or the minority chairman of the
7 Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives.
8 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1998, or
9 immediately, whichever is later.
