AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, adding a definition of "parent."
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 5302 of Title 23 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a definition to read:
7 § 5302. Definitions.
8 The following words and phrases when used in this subchapter
9 shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
10 context clearly indicates otherwise:

12 "Parent." Includes natural parents, adoptive parents,
13 grandparents or great-grandparents.

15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
