AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
2 approval of the Governor, to sell and convey to the City of
3 Farrell certain surplus land situate in the City of Farrell,
4 Mercer County.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the
8 approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized and directed on
9 behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant, sell and
10 convey to the City of Farrell for a consideration of $350 the
11 following tract of land situate in the City of Farrell, Mercer
12 County, bounded and described as follows:
13 All that certain parcel of land situate in the City of
14 Farrell, County of Mercer, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded
15 and described in accordance with the City of Farrell's city lot
16 number known as follows:
17 City lot number 467, Plan "B" of the Beechwood Improvement
18 Company, also known as county lot number 118, a 25 feet by 130
1 feet lot located at 807 Emerson Avenue, City of Farrell, Mercer
2 County, Pennsylvania.
3 Containing 3,250 square feet, more or less.
4 Section 2. The conveyance shall be made under and subject to
5 all easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but
6 not confined to, streets, roadways and rights of any telephone,
7 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as
8 well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies
9 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for
10 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon.
11 Section 3. The deed of conveyance shall be approved as
12 provided by law and shall be executed by the Secretary of
13 General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
14 Pennsylvania.
15 Section 4. Costs and fees incidental to this conveyance
16 shall be borne by the grantees.
17 Section 5. This act shall take effect immediately.
