AN ACT
1 Repealing obsolete laws relating to public morgues and salaries
2 for and fees collected by coroners of certain classes of
3 counties.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The following acts and parts of acts are
7 repealed:
8 Act of June 12, 1893 (P.L.457, No.327), entitled "An act to
9 provide for the erection, maintenance and regulation of public
10 morgues in the several counties of this Commonwealth, for the
11 care and disposal of bodies removed thereto, and providing for
12 the payment of certain expenses of the same by the proper county
13 or district or by the estate of the deceased person, and
14 providing for the disposal of the personal effects of unclaimed
15 dead."
16 Act of April 7, 1927 (P.L.168, No.140), entitled "An act to
1 fix the salary of the coroner of counties of the fourth class."
2 Act of April 22, 1927 (P.L.348, No.212), entitled "An act to
3 fix the salaries to be paid to coroners in counties of the third
4 class."
5 Act of January 7, 1952 (1951 P.L.1844, No.493), entitled as
6 amended "An act fixing the fees and mileage of the coroner in
7 counties of the fourth and fifth classes."
8 Act of July 29, 1953 (P.L.981, No.242), entitled "An act
9 fixing the fees and mileage of the coroner in counties of the
10 third class."
11 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
