AN ACT
1 Regulating the display of certain flags; and providing for the
2 validity of certain ordinances, rules and regulations.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Proper display of flags.
6 (a) General rule.--A person may display any flag of the
7 United States or the Commonwealth inside or outside of that
8 person's residence in any manner, provided that the display is
9 not in violation of 18 Pa.C.S. § 2102 (relating to desecration
10 of flag).
11 (b) Validity of ordinances, rules and regulations.--Any
12 ordinance, rule or regulation enacted or adopted by any
13 political subdivision, condominium association or other public
14 or private organization in violation of this section shall be
15 null and void.
1 Section 2. Effective date.
2 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
