        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT, JANUARY 26, 1998

                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of March 18, 1775 (1 Sm.L. 422, No.704),
     2     entitled "A supplement to the act, entitled 'An Act for
     3     acknowledging and recording of deeds,'" repealing provisions
     4     relating to conveyances.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Section 6 of the act of March 18, 1775 (1 Sm.L.
     8  422, No.704), entitled "A supplement to the act, entitled 'An
     9  Act for acknowledging and recording of deeds,'" is repealed.
    10     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
