AN ACT
1 Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for a public comment period and a public
3 hearing on any proposed special fishing regulation affecting
4 approved trout waters.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 2102 of Title 30 of the Pennsylvania
8 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
9 § 2102. Rules and regulations.

11 (e) Special fishing regulations affecting approved trout
12 waters.--No proposed designation under any special fishing
13 regulation affecting any approved trout waters shall take effect
14 until the executive director files a written notice with the
15 Pennsylvania Bulletin certifying that the commission or the
16 executive director solicited public comments on the proposed
17 designation for a period of 90 consecutive days and that ten
18 days after the close of the public comment period, a public
19 hearing on the proposed designation was held in the geographic
1 area affected by the proposed designation.
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
