                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, providing for a Gettysburg Civil War memorial
     3     registration plate; and establishing the Pennsylvania
     4     Monuments at Gettysburg National Military Park Fund.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     9  § 1360.  Gettysburg Civil War memorial registration plate.
    10     (a)  Plate.--The department shall design a Gettysburg Civil
    11  War memorial registration plate which shall have a replica of
    12  the main Pennsylvania Monument at the Gettysburg National
    13  Military Park and shall display the words "Gettysburg 1863."
    14  Upon application of any person, accompanied by a fee of $35
    15  which shall be in addition to the annual registration fee, the
    16  department shall issue the plate for a passenger car, motor


     1  home, trailer or truck with a registered gross weight of not
     2  more than 9,000 pounds.
     3     (b)  Use of fee.--Of each fee paid under subsection (a), $15
     4  shall be deposited into the Pennsylvania Monuments at Gettysburg
     5  National Military Park Fund, which is hereby established. The
     6  moneys in the fund shall be used solely to preserve and restore
     7  the Pennsylvania monuments and sites surrounding the monuments.
     8     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
