AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for duties of vehicle
3 registration agents.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1318(d) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes, added April 17, 1997 (P.L.6, No.3), is
8 amended to read:
9 § 1318. Duties of agents.

11 [(d) Verification of information on application.--In
12 addition to any other duty prescribed by this title or
13 departmental regulations, an agent shall verify that the
14 purchase price stated on the application approximates the fair
15 market value of the vehicle in a manner prescribed by the
16 department as set forth in a notice published in the
17 Pennsylvania Bulletin.]
