AMENDMENTS TO SENATE AMENDMENTS, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES,
OCTOBER 5, 1998
AN ACT
1 Designating a section of SR 0073 in Montgomery County,
2 Pennsylvania as the POW/MIA Memorial Highway; and designating <--
3 a bridge in Chester County as the Marty Godra Memorial
4 Bridge; AND DESIGNATING A PORTION OF SR 0248 IN CARBON COUNTY <--
5 AS THE POW/MIA REMEMBRANCE HIGHWAY.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. (a) The section of SR 0073 in Whitpain Township,
9 Montgomery County, between North Wales Road and Butler Pike, is
10 designated and shall be known as the POW/MIA Memorial Highway.
11 (b) The Department of Transportation shall erect and
12 maintain appropriate signs identifying the above portion of road
13 as the POW/MIA Memorial Highway.
14 Section 2. (a) The bridge located on SR 3079, Five Point
15 Road, Highland Township, Chester County, over Fawn Run is
16 designated and shall be known as the Marty Godra Memorial
17 Bridge.
18 (b) The Department of Transportation shall erect and
1 maintain appropriate signs identifying the bridge designated in
2 subsection (a) as the Marty Godra Memorial Bridge.
3 SECTION 3. (A) THAT PORTION OF SR 0248 SITUATE IN CARBON <--
4 COUNTY IS HEREBY DESIGNATED THE POW/MIA REMEMBRANCE HIGHWAY.
5 (B) THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SHALL ERECT THE
6 APPROPRIATE SIGNS IDENTIFYING THE ABOVE PORTION OF ROAD AS THE
7 POW/MIA REMEMBRANCE HIGHWAY.
8 Section 3 4. This act shall take effect in 60 days. <--
