AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation APPROPRIATIONS from a restricted revenue <--
2 account within the General Fund to the Office of Consumer
3 Advocate in the Office of Attorney General.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $3,860,000 $3,760,000 is hereby <--
7 appropriated from the restricted revenue account within the
8 General Fund to the Office of Consumer Advocate in the Office of
9 Attorney General to provide for the operation of that office for
10 the fiscal year July 1, 1997, to June 30, 1998.
11 SECTION 2. THE SUM OF $235,000 IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED FROM <--
12 THE RESTRICTED REVENUE ACCOUNT WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND TO THE
13 OFFICE OF CONSUMER ADVOCATE IN THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY
14 GENERAL FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO THE RELOCATION OF THE OFFICE OF
15 CONSUMER ADVOCATE FROM ITS PRESENT LOCATION IN STRAWBERRY
16 SQUARE.
17 Section 2 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1997, or <--
1 immediately, whichever is later.
