AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for the designation of an emergency
3 vehicle as a command post with appropriate green lights.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4572 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 4572. Visual signals on authorized vehicles.

10 (b.1) Flashing or revolving green lights.--One stationary
11 emergency vehicle at the scene of an accident, disaster or other
12 emergency may operate flashing or revolving green lights to
13 indicate that the vehicle is the incident command post at the
14 scene. The flashing or revolving green lights may be mounted
15 independent of any other emergency lights or may be capable of
16 temporary attachment. The green lights shall not be used on any
1 vehicle while that vehicle is in motion.
