APRIL 15, 1997
AN ACT
1 Designating a portion of U.S. Route 220 in Lycoming County as
2 the Lycoming County Veterans' Memorial Highway; AND <--
3 DESIGNATING A PORTION OF STATE ROUTE 307 IN LACKAWANNA COUNTY
4 AS THE JOSEPH M. MCDADE EXPRESSWAY.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. (A) The portion of U.S. Route 220 from the <--
8 intersection of S.R.44 to the Halls exit in Lycoming County is
9 designated and shall be known as the Lycoming County Veterans'
10 Memorial Highway.
11 Section 2. (B) The Department of Transportation shall erect <--
12 and maintain appropriate signs identifying the above portion of
13 road as the Lycoming County Veterans' Memorial Highway.
14 SECTION 2. (A) THAT PORTION OF STATE ROUTE 307 WITHIN THE <--
15 CITY OF SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY, SHALL HEREAFTER BE KNOWN AS
16 THE JOSEPH M. MCDADE EXPRESSWAY.
17 (B) THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SHALL ERECT THE
18 APPROPRIATE SIGNS TO INDICATE THIS DESIGNATION TO THE GENERAL
1 PUBLIC.
2 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
