A RESOLUTION 1 Proclaiming May 4, 1996, as "Kids' Day" in Pennsylvania. 2 WHEREAS, The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania recognizes the 3 future of this Commonwealth is in the minds, hearts and spirit 4 of its children; and 5 WHEREAS, Many families today find it increasingly difficult 6 to spend adequate time together; and 7 WHEREAS, Parents and children need to spend time together in 8 order to adequately nurture children; and 9 WHEREAS, The children of today will be the leaders of 10 tomorrow; and 11 WHEREAS, The Borough of Downingtown and the Downingtown Main 12 Street program seek to honor the children of the area by
1 providing a day of family fun, education and entertainment on 2 May 4; therefore be it 3 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives hereby proclaim 4 May 4, 1996, as "Kids' Day" in Pennsylvania. C7L82DGS/19960H0306R3234 - 2 -
