AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Historical Society of Western
2 Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $200,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 1995, to June 30, 1996.
8 Section 2. Payments to the Historical Society of Western
9 Pennsylvania on account of the appropriation provided in section
10 1 shall be made quarterly by the Executive Director of the
11 Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
12 Section 3. The Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania
13 shall provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
14 required by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission or
15 the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
16 Committee of the Senate or the chairman or the minority chairman
17 of the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives.
1 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 1995, or
2 immediately, whichever is later.
