AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for the enforcement of judgments obtained
3 against uninsured motorists.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 1776. Uninsured motorists.
9 Any person obtaining a judgment as a result of an accident
10 with an uninsured motorist may, where such motorist is in
11 default of payments on that judgment, obtain a writ of execution
12 upon the salaries, wages or other income of the delinquent
13 motorist, in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil
14 Procedure.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
