AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for disposition
3 of fines to colleges and universities.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 3573 of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 3573. Municipal corporation portion of fines, etc.
9 * * *
10 (e) Colleges and universities.--All fines forfeited,
11 recognizances and other forfeitures imposed for offenses
12 occurring on the grounds and buildings of colleges and
13 universities and which are the result of action taken by
14 enforcement officers employed by the college or university shall
15 be paid to the college or university.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
