A RESOLUTION 1 Directing the Speaker of the House to appoint a committee to 2 investigate the high charge for pumped gasoline and recommend 3 appropriate remedies. 4 WHEREAS, Most persons having disabilities are unable to pump 5 gasoline into their vehicles and are required to purchase 6 gasoline pumped by station attendants; and 7 WHEREAS, Pumped gasoline is considerably higher in price than 8 gasoline pumped by the purchaser, sometimes as much as 60¢ more 9 per gallon; therefore be it 10 RESOLVED, That the Speaker of the House appoint a five-member 11 committee to hold hearings on the extreme disparity between the 12 price of purchaser-pumped and attendant-pumped gasoline and to 13 make recommendations to the House of Representatives regarding a 14 solution to this problem for citizens of this Commonwealth who 15 have disabilities.
