                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 16, 1994 (P.L.   , No.6A), entitled "An
     2     act to provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the
     3     Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the
     4     Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for
     5     the fiscal year July 1, 1994, to June 30, 1995, for certain
     6     institutions and organizations, and for the payment of bills
     7     incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year
     8     ending June 30, 1994; to provide appropriations from the
     9     State Lottery Fund, the Pennsylvania Economic Revitalization
    10     Fund, the Energy Conservation and Assistance Fund, the
    11     Hazardous Material Response Fund, The State Stores Fund, the
    12     Milk Marketing Fund, the Home Investment Trust Fund, the
    13     Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund, the Ben
    14     Franklin/IRC Partnership Fund and the Tuition Payment Fund to
    15     the Executive Department; to provide appropriations from the
    16     Judicial Computer System Augmentation Account to the Judicial
    17     Department; to provide appropriations from the Motor License
    18     Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 1994, to June 30, 1995, for
    19     the proper operation of the several departments of the
    20     Commonwealth and the Pennsylvania State Police authorized to
    21     spend Motor License Fund moneys; to provide for the
    22     appropriation of Federal funds to the Executive and Judicial
    23     Departments of the Commonwealth and for the establishment of
    24     restricted receipt accounts for the fiscal year July 1, 1994,
    25     to June 30, 1995, and for the payment of bills remaining
    26     unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1994;
    27     and to provide for the additional appropriation of State and


     1     Federal funds to the Executive and Judicial Departments of
     2     the Commonwealth for the fiscal year July 1, 1993, to June
     3     30, 1994, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
     4     unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1993,"
     5     further providing for an appropriation from the General Fund;
     6     and increasing and adding certain Federal appropriations for
     7     the provision of legal services.

     8     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     9  hereby enacts as follows:
    10     Section 1.  The appropriation for legal services in section
    11  219 of the act of June 16, 1994 (P.L.   , No.6A), known as the
    12  General Appropriation Act of 1994, is amended to read:
    13     Section 219.  Department of Public
    14  Welfare.--The following sums are
    15  appropriated to the Department of
    16  Public Welfare:

    19  appropriated to supplement the sum
    20  appropriated for general government
    21  operations:

    24             Federal appropriation......    6,183,000
    25     Any award of attorney fees from any
    26  Commonwealth agency or official to a
    27  legal service provider supported, in
    28  whole or in part, directly or by
    29  contract under this Federal
    30  appropriation shall be paid
    31  exclusively from this Federal
    32  appropriation.]

     1     For Breast Cancer Screening.
     2         State appropriation............                   850,000
     3     The following Federal amounts are
     4  appropriated to supplement the sum
     5  appropriated for breast cancer
     6  screening:
     7     (1)  "SSBG - Family Planning."
     8             Federal appropriation......    4,708,000
     9     For the provision of legal
    10  services.
    11             State appropriation........                 2,500,000
    12     The following Federal amounts are
    13  appropriated to supplement the sum
    14  appropriated for legal services:
    15     (1)   "SSBG - Legal Services."
    16             Federal appropriation......    6,183,000            
    17     Any award of attorney fees from any
    18  Commonwealth agency or official to a
    19  legal service provider supported, in
    20  whole or in part, directly or by
    21  contract under this appropriation
    22  shall be paid exclusively from this
    23  appropriation.
