AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 25, 1982 (P.L.633, No.181), entitled,
2 as reenacted, "An act providing for independent oversight and
3 review of regulations, creating an Independent Regulatory
4 Review Commission, providing for its powers and duties and
5 making repeals," further defining "agency" to include the
6 Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and the Pennsylvania
7 Game Commission.
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. The definition of "agency" in section 3 of the
11 act of June 25, 1982 (P.L.633, No.181), known as the Regulatory
12 Review Act, reenacted and amended June 30, 1989 (P.L.73, No.19),
13 is amended to read:
14 Section 3. Definitions.
15 The following words and phrases when used in this act shall
16 have, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the
17 meanings given to them in this section:
18 "Agency." Any department, departmental administrative board
19 or commission, independent board or commission, including the
1 Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and the Pennsylvania Game
2 Commission, agency or other authority of this Commonwealth now
3 existing or hereafter created, but shall not include the Senate
4 or the House of Representatives, [the Pennsylvania Fish
5 Commission, the Pennsylvania Game Commission,] the Independent
6 Regulatory Review Commission, or any court, political
7 subdivision, municipal or local authority.

9 Section 2. This act shall apply to all regulations submitted
10 on or after the effective date of this act.
11 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
