AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of the University of
2 Pennsylvania for cardiovascular studies.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $132,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 1994, to June 30, 1995, for cardiovascular studies.
8 Payment of this appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of
9 Health in equal quarterly payments.
10 Section 2. The University of Pennsylvania shall provide
11 full, complete and accurate information as may be required by
12 the Department of Health or the majority chairman or the
13 minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate
14 or the majority chairman or the minority chairman of the
15 Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1994, or
17 immediately, whichever is later.
