AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for rental of firearms
3 prohibited.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 6115.1. Rental of firearms prohibited.
9 (a) General rule.--No person shall rent a firearm, offensive
10 weapon or assault weapon to another person.
11 (b) Definition.--As used in this section, the term
12 "offensive weapon" shall have the meaning given to it in section
13 908 (relating to prohibited offensive weapons).
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
