AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the issuance of vehicle
3 registration plates.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1331 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 1331. Issuance of registration plates.

10 (f) Free replacement of registration plates.--The department
11 shall replace, free of charge, any registration plate which is
12 being used on a vehicle and held by the same owner for a period
13 of at least ten years.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
