AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for certificate of title.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 1106(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
7 § 1106. Content and effect of certificate of title.
8 (a) Vehicle identification and encumbrances.--A certificate
9 of title shall contain such description and other evidence of
10 identification of the vehicle for which it is issued as the
11 department may deem necessary and the odometer reading, together
12 with a statement of any liens or encumbrances including the
13 names and addresses of the holder or holders of the liens or
14 encumbrances. If the vehicle was flood damaged, the certificate
15 of title shall also contain a statement disclosing this fact.
