AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for riding on motorcycles.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 3522 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
7 § 3522. Riding on motorcycles.

9 (e) Riders and passengers.--
10 (1) An operator of a motorcycle may not carry as a
11 passenger or permit to ride thereon any person under seven
12 years of age.
13 (2) An operator who violates this subsection shall be
14 fined not more than $200.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
