AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the application of certain
3 rules relating to school buses on both highways and
4 trafficways.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 3101 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
8 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
9 § 3101. Application of part.
10 (a) General rule.--Except as provided in subsection (b), the
11 provisions of this part relating to the operation of vehicles
12 refer exclusively to the operation of vehicles upon highways
13 except where a different place is specifically referred to in a
14 particular provision.
15 (b) Serious traffic offenses.--The provisions of section
16 3345 (relating to meeting or overtaking school bus) and
17 Subchapter B of Chapter 37 (relating to serious traffic
18 offenses) shall apply upon highways and trafficways throughout
1 this Commonwealth.
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
