AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, permitting certain military personnel to hunt
3 without a license.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2706 of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 2706. Resident license and fee exemptions.

10 (e) Military personnel.--Notwithstanding any other
11 provisions of this title, a resident of this Commonwealth on
12 full-time active duty in the military service of the United
13 States, assigned to a facility outside this Commonwealth and on
14 temporary leave in this Commonwealth may hunt, kill or trap game
15 birds, game animals and furbearers without a hunting or furtaker
16 license or any specific type of license as required in this
17 title. Every person who uses this exemption shall have in his
18 possession, while hunting or taking game birds, game animals or
1 furbearers, evidence of residency in this Commonwealth and a
2 copy of the orders assigning the person to temporary leave. This
3 subsection shall not be construed to permit any person to hunt
4 for, kill or trap any game bird, game animal or furbearer at any
5 time or in any manner or number other than as prescribed by
6 regulations of the commission.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
