AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 23, 1982 (P.L.597, No.170), entitled
2 "An act providing for a voluntary contribution system to aid
3 in the conservation of certain wild flora and fauna,
4 establishing a special fund and providing for its
5 administration, establishing a procedure for the protection
6 of wild flora, establishing a permit system, imposing powers
7 and duties on the Department of Environmental Resources and
8 imposing penalties," further providing for the Wild Resource
9 Conservation Board.
10 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11 hereby enacts as follows:
12 Section 1. Section 6(a) of the act of June 23, 1982
13 (P.L.597, No.170), known as the Wild Resource Conservation Act,
14 is amended to read:
15 Section 6. Wild Resource Conservation Board.
16 (a) There is hereby created a Wild Resource Conservation
17 Board, the members of which shall consist of the Secretary of
18 the Department of Environmental Resources or his designee, the
19 Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Fish AND BOAT Commission <--
20 or his designee, the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Game
1 Commission or his designee, the [majority] CHAIRMAN and minority <--
2 [chairmen] CHAIRMAN of the House Conservation Committee or their <--
3 designees and the [majority] CHAIRMAN and minority [chairmen] <--
4 CHAIRMAN of the Senate Environmental Resources AND ENERGY <--
5 Committee or their designees. The chairmanship of said board
6 shall rotate on an annual basis among the members thereof.
