A RESOLUTION
1 Designating the month of June 1992 as "Month of the Child" in
2 Pennsylvania.
3 WHEREAS, The health of our children is key to the future of
4 our society; and
5 WHEREAS, The promotion of good physical and mental health
6 among families is important; and
7 WHEREAS, Residents of this Commonwealth will be provided with
8 opportunities to focus on the health and future of our most
9 precious resource - our children; and
10 WHEREAS, Going to the doctor should be viewed as a positive
11 experience by children, giving them a chance to focus on
12 wellness and disease prevention in a fun and nonthreatening
13 environment; therefore be it
14 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
15 month of June 1992 as "Month of the Child" in Pennsylvania.
