A RESOLUTION
1 Observing the week of February 15 through 22, 1992, as "1992 FFA
2 Week."
3 WHEREAS, The FFA program of agricultural education is a
4 strong force for America's agriculture; and
5 WHEREAS, FFA and agricultural education are changing to
6 provide training for the new high-tech careers of agriculture;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, Members of FFA are playing an outstanding role in
9 assuring the future progress and prosperity of our Nation; and
10 WHEREAS, The FFA motto, "Learning to do, doing to learn;
11 earning to live, living to serve," gives direction of purpose to
12 these students who are providing leadership for a growing
13 planet; and
14 WHEREAS, FFA performs the valuable service of developing
15 leadership, encouraging cooperation, promoting good citizenship
16 and inspiring patriotism among its members; therefore be it
17 RESOLVED, That the week of February 15 through 22, 1992, be
1 observed as "1992 FFA Week."
