AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 9, 1992 (P.L. , No.39A), entitled "An
2 act appropriating money from the Sunny Day Fund to the
3 Department of Commerce for various projects throughout this
4 Commonwealth for fiscal year 1992-1993," further defining a
5 project; and making an appropriation.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 2(1) of the act of July 9, 1992 (P.L. ,
9 No.39A), entitled "An act appropriating money from the Sunny Day
10 Fund to the Department of Commerce for various projects
11 throughout this Commonwealth for fiscal year 1992-1993," is
12 amended to read:
13 Section 2. The following amounts are appropriated to the
14 Department of Commerce to induce companies to locate large
15 industrial, manufacturing or research and development
16 enterprises within this Commonwealth:
17 (1) For the purpose of making a loan to
18 Murry's, Inc., a vertically integrated meat and
19 poultry processing company, to expand its existing
1 facility in Lebanon through the acquisition of
2 land, the construction of an 80,000 square foot
3 processing and distribution facility [in the city
4 of Lebanon's enterprise zone.] within Lebanon
5 County and the acquisition of machinery and
6 equipment. Murry's, Inc., will invest at least
7 $12,000,000 into the project, which will create
8 approximately 200 new jobs within three years of
