AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," further providing for the
6 distribution of the equalized subsidy for basic education for
7 the fiscal year 1992-1993.
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. Section 2502.5 of the act of March 10, 1949
11 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is
12 amended by adding a subsection to read:
13 Section 2502.5. Limitation of Certain Payments.--* * *
14 (f) Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, no school
15 district shall receive a payment under subsections (d) and (e)
16 of section 2502 and sections 2502.11, 2502.13, 2502.17 and
17 2502.18 for the 1992-1993 school year which is less than the
18 payment that the school district received for the 1991-1992
19 school year. The provisions of section 2502.6 of the act shall
1 not apply to this subsection.
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
