AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for safety zones.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 2505(c) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
7 § 2505. Safety zones.

9 (c) Definition.--As used in this section, the term "safety
10 zone" means one of the following:
11 (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2), the area within
12 150 yards around and that area which is below the highest
13 point of any occupied dwelling house, residence, or other
14 building or camp occupied by human beings, or any barn,
15 stable, or other building used in connection therewith or any
16 attached or detached playground of any school, nursery school
17 or day-care center.
1 (2) In areas designated by commission regulation as
2 special regulation areas, the area within 250 yards around
3 and that area which is below the highest point of any
4 occupied dwelling house, residence or other building or camp
5 occupied by human beings, any barn, stable or other building
6 used in connection therewith or any attached or detached
7 playground of any school, nursery school or day-care center.
8 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
