AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, requiring the preparation and distribution of an
3 educational booklet relating to turkey hunting.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 2525. Turkey hunting booklet.
9 The commission shall prepare for distribution to every
10 licensee a comprehensive educational booklet relating to turkey
11 hunting. Each booklet shall contain, in a format developed by
12 the commission, information on:
13 (1) Safe hunting rules and practices relative to wild
14 turkey hunting with specific emphasis on target size and
15 identification.
16 (2) Suggested techniques for successful and safe
17 hunting.
1 (3) Any other information deemed relevant by the
2 commission.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
