                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing certain obsolete laws relating to taxation and fiscal
     2     affairs.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5  Section 1.  Repeals.
     6     The following acts and parts of acts are repealed:
     7     Act of March 30, 1811 (P.L.189, No.111), entitled "A
     8  supplement to an act, entitled 'An act for laying out and
     9  keeping in repair the public roads and highways within this
    10  commonwealth, and laying out private roads.'"
    11     Act of April 19, 1844 (P.L.221, No.154), entitled "An act to
    12  provide for the education of the deaf mutes of this


     1  commonwealth."
     2     Act of April 22, 1846 (P.L.486, No.390), entitled "An act to
     3  provide for the reduction of the public debt."
     4     Section 5 of the act of March 20, 1852 (P.L.172, No.131),
     5  entitled "An act relative to the board of health of the city and
     6  county of Philadelphia; relative to shop taxes and tavern
     7  licenses in the burnt district of Philadelphia; authorizing J.
     8  Engle Negus and Edwin L. Poalk, trustees, to sell certain real
     9  estate; authorizing the trustees of the Bustleton Academy to
    10  lease or transfer said academy to the controllers of public
    11  schools; to the Waterford and Erie plank road; and to vacate
    12  Jasper street, in the county of Philadelphia."
    13     Act of May 14, 1874 (P.L.155, No.89), entitled "An act to
    14  authorize the collection of poor tax from unseated lands."
    15     Act of April 16, 1875 (P.L.55, No.58), entitled "An act
    16  authorizing the burgess and town council of each of the several
    17  boroughs throughout this commonwealth to levy and collect a gas,
    18  kerosene oil and water tax."
    19     Act of June 1, 1881 (P.L.37, No.45), entitled "An act
    20  providing a rate of taxation for the bonds of any county, issued
    21  for the payment of losses occasioned by a riot."
    22     Sections 2 and 4 of the act of June 30, 1885 (P.L.197,
    23  No.162), entitled "A further supplement to an act, entitled 'An
    24  act to provide revenue by taxation,' approved the seventh of
    25  June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine."
    26     Act of May 12, 1887 (P.L.45, No.45), entitled "An act
    27  regulating the compensation of county auditors, within this
    28  Commonwealth."
    29     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
