                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing certain obsolete laws relating to rivers.

     2     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     3  hereby enacts as follows:
     4     Section 1.  The following acts and parts of acts are
     5  repealed:
     6     Act of March 20, 1812 (P.L.136, No.91), entitled "An act to
     7  regulate the taking up lumber, in the rivers Susquehanna and
     8  Lehigh, and their branches."
     9     Act of April 30, 1844 (P.L.551, No.364), entitled "An act to
    10  secure the safe navigation of the river Delaware."
    11     Act of February 4, 1846 (P.L.30, No.27), entitled "Supplement
    12  to an act passed March twenty-ninth, Anno Domini one thousand

     1  eight hundred and three, to establish a board of wardens of the
     2  port of Philadelphia, and for other purposes."
     3     Section 8 of the act of April 20, 1853 (P.L.645, No.361),
     4  entitled "An act to incorporate the Washington and Manor
     5  Turnpike Road company; legitimating Frank Jones of the city of
     6  Philadelphia; relative to the election of Directors of the Poor
     7  in Allegheny county; to the Warren County Mutual Insurance
     8  company; to the Lackawanna and Susquehanna Railroad; to
     9  advertising Lumber drifting upon islands in the Susquehanna
    10  river; and relative to Lanes and Alleys in the city of
    11  Pittsburg."
    12     Act of May 8, 1855 (P.L.529, No.548), entitled "A supplement
    13  to an act to regulate the taking up of Lumber, passed March
    14  twentieth, one thousand eight hundred and twelve."
    15     Act of April 9, 1856 (P.L.292, No.306), entitled "An act
    16  relating to Wharves upon the Canals of the Commonwealth."
    17     Act of April 14, 1863 (P.L.388, No.383), entitled "An act
    18  extending the provisions of the act of March sixth, Anno Domini
    19  one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine, in regard to floating
    20  lumber, to oil and oil barrels, upon the Allegheny, Monongahela
    21  and Ohio rivers."
    22     Act of April 19, 1864 (P.L.480, No.414), entitled "An act to
    23  secure to the owners their lumber, when lost in the Delaware
    24  river."
    25     Section 2.  This act shall take effect  immediately.
