AN ACT 1 Making appropriations to the Delaware Valley College of Science 2 and Agriculture at Doylestown. 3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 4 hereby enacts as follows: 5 Section 1. The sum of $344,000 $459,000 is hereby <-- 6 appropriated to the Delaware Valley College of Science and 7 Agriculture at Doylestown, for the fiscal year July 1, 1991, to 8 June 30, 1992, for instruction and student aid. The final <-- 9 payment totaling no less than 25% of this appropriation is 10 contingent on the Secretary of Education certifying to the 11 General Assembly that the Delaware Valley College of Science and 12 Agriculture has fully cooperated in the Department of 13 Education's efforts to fulfill the requirements of the higher 14 education accountability appropriation to the Department of 15 Education. 16 Section 2. In addition to the sum appropriated under section 17 1, the sum of $150,000 $200,000 is hereby appropriated to the <--
1 Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture at 2 Doylestown, for the fiscal year July 1, 1991, to June 30, 1992, 3 for the James A. Michener Center for the Arts. 4 Section 3. Payments to the Delaware Valley College of 5 Science and Agriculture on account of the appropriation provided 6 in section 1 shall be made by the Secretary of Education in 7 equal quarterly payments. 8 Section 4. The Delaware Valley College of Science and 9 Agriculture shall provide full, complete, and accurate 10 information as may be required by the Department of Education or 11 the Majority or Minority Chairman of the Appropriations 12 Committee of the Senate or the Majority or Minority Chairman of 13 the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives. 14 Section 5. The Delaware Valley College of Science and 15 Agriculture shall report its revenues and expenditures and 16 present its financial statements in accordance with generally 17 accepted accounting principles and procedures for educational 18 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance 19 Manual (1975)" and the "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Budget 20 Instructions for the State System of Higher Education, State- 21 Related Universities and Non-State-Related Colleges and 22 Universities." 23 Section 6.
