AN ACT
1 Requiring the Department of Revenue to establish a special task
2 force to collect certain data relating to sales and income
3 taxation by municipalities.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Task force.
7 The Department of Revenue shall establish a special task
8 force to collect data identifying those municipalities where
9 sales and income taxes are collected, and the total amount of
10 sales and income taxes collected in each such municipality. The
11 task force shall make a report of its findings to the General
12 Assembly within six months of the effective date of this act.
13 Section 2. Effective date.
14 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
