AS AMENDED ON THIRD CONSIDERATION, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, MAY 14, 1991
AN ACT 1 Making appropriations from the Professional Licensure 2 Augmentation Account and from restricted revenue accounts 3 within the General Fund to the Department of State for use by 4 the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs in 5 support of the professional licensure boards assigned 6 thereto. 7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 8 hereby enacts as follows: 9 Section 1. The sum of $12,136,000 $12,569,000, or as much <-- 10 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the 11 Professional Licensure Augmentation Account within the General 12 Fund to the Department of State for the operation of the Bureau 13 of Professional and Occupational Affairs, including the State 14 Board of Auctioneer Examiners, for the fiscal year July 1, 1991, 15 to June 30, 1992. 16 Section 2. (a) The sum of $1,680,000 $1,742,000, or as much <-- 17 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the 18 restricted receipts account of the State Board of Medicine, as 19 authorized by section 907(a) of the act of October 15, 1975
1 (P.L.390, No.111), known as the Health Care Services Malpractice 2 Act, for the operation of said board for the fiscal year July 1, 3 1991, to June 30, 1992. 4 (b) The sum of $218,000 $293,000, or as much thereof as may <-- 5 be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the restricted 6 receipts account of the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine, as 7 authorized by section 907(b) of the Health Care Services 8 Malpractice Act, for the operation of said board for the fiscal 9 year July 1, 1991, to June 30, 1992. 10 (c) The sum of $116,000 $122,000, or as much thereof as may <-- 11 be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the restricted 12 receipts account of the State Board of Podiatry, as authorized 13 by section 907(c) of the Health Care Services Malpractice Act, 14 for the operation of said board for the fiscal year July 1, 15 1991, to June 30, 1992. 16 (d) The sum of $305,000, or as much thereof as may be 17 necessary, is hereby appropriated from the Athletic Commission 18 Augmentation Account for the State Athletic Commission, as 19 authorized by section 3106 of the act of July 1, 1989 (P.L.136, 20 No.28), known as the Athletic Code, for the support and 21 operation of said commission for the fiscal year July 1, 1991, 22 to June 30, 1992. 23 (e) Each appropriation listed in subsections (a), (b), (c) 24 and (d) shall not be treated as an augmentation to the 25 Department of State, general government appropriation, or any 26 other appropriation, but shall be treated and accounted for as 27 separate appropriations respectively. 28 Section 3.
