AN ACT 1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated 2 Statutes, defining the offense of transporting foodstuffs in 3 vehicles used to transport chemicals. 4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 5 hereby enacts as follows: 6 Section 1. Section 4909(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania 7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: 8 § 4909. Transporting foodstuffs in vehicles used to transport 9 waste. 10 (a) Offense defined.-- 11 (1) A person commits a violation of this section if he 12 transports or knowingly provides a vehicle for the 13 transportation of any food product or produce intended for 14 human consumption in a vehicle which has been used to 15 transport any municipal, residual or hazardous waste, or any 16 chemical in bulk, or liquid[,] in bulk, which is not a food
1 product or produce. 2 (2) A person commits a violation of this section if he 3 knowingly accepts any food product or produce from, or 4 provides any food product or produce to, a vehicle used to 5 transport any municipal, residual or hazardous waste, or any 6 chemical in bulk, or liquid[,] in bulk, which is not a food 7 product or produce. 8 * * * 9 Section 2.
