AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for the Office of Child
3 Support Legal Advocate.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 23 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 4306.1. Child Support Legal Advocate.
9 (a) Authorization.--Domestic relations sections of the
10 courts of common pleas may use Title IV-D of Federal Social
11 Security Act funds and/or collection proceeds to create and
12 staff an Office of Child Support Legal Advocate.
13 (b) Duty.--It shall be the duty of the Child Support Legal
14 Advocate to aid in the presentation of complaints or in any
15 proceedings designed to obtain compliance with any court order
16 of support.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
